Isaiah forty-one, verse ten

Said: Do not be afraid, I am with you then

Do not be anxious, for I am your God

I will fortify you, I will help you trod

So whenever trouble comes

And whenever fears arise

I will remember who's holdin' me

I will lift up my eyes

When the storms rise up

And the waves are crashing round

When the voices come against me

When my enemies surround

I won't be alone

Oh, I won't stand alone

'Cause You said in Deuteronomy

Thirty-one, verse six and eight, You'd be

Marching with me every step of the way

You'll never desert me, never leave me astray

So I'll stand tall, and I'll stand strong

'Cause my Jehovah stand by me all along

I've been through the valley

Where the deep shadows fall

I've been through the fire

Where it felt like the end of it all

I've been let down by people

I thought would stand right there

But when every friend walked away

You were the One who stayed near

Psalm seventy-three, verse twenty-three

Yet I am always with you, you hold my right hand

You guide me with your advice

And afterward you'll lead me to glory land

Even when my mother and my father

May abandon me (Psalm 27:10)

Jehovah Himself will take me in

Even if the mountains depart

And the hills be removed (Isaiah 54:10)

Your loving-kindness will never depart from me

Your covenant of peace will never be moved

So hold on to me

Right hand of righteousness

Hold on to me
