To Jehovah — With a Grateful Heart
This site exists because of Him. Everything we have, every chapter read, every streak kept — it all points back to Jehovah. A personal note of thanks.
There is something I have wanted to say out loud for a while, and I think this is the right place to say it.
This site — every line of code, every feature, every small improvement — is dedicated to Jehovah God, the Creator of heaven and earth. It was not born out of ambition or a desire to build something impressive. It was born out of a genuine desire to help His people draw closer to His Word.
Where It Started
I remember sitting with my Bible, wanting to be more consistent in my reading, wanting to actually finish it — not just say I was going to. I looked for something simple that could help me track my progress through all 66 books, and I could not find what I was looking for. So I built it. But I could not have built it without the strength and clarity that Jehovah provides.
Proverbs 3:5–6 says it best:
"Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he will make your paths straight."
That verse has been a quiet anchor through this entire project. Every time I hit a wall, every time something broke, every time I wondered if it was worth continuing — I came back to that promise. He makes paths straight. And He did.
For His People
This is not just a reading tracker. I hope it becomes a place where Jehovah's people can encourage one another, share reflections on what they are reading, and feel a little less alone in the journey of staying faithful.
Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us:
"And let us consider one another so as to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking our meeting together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another."
That is what the forum and blog are for. Not to show off knowledge, but to encourage each other. To share what moved us in a passage. To celebrate finishing a book. To ask a question without feeling embarrassed. To build each other up.
Gratitude That Has No Words
I am genuinely overwhelmed with gratitude when I think about how much Jehovah has given us. His Word — 66 books, written over centuries, preserved for us — is a gift beyond measure. Psalm 119:105 says:
"Your word is a lamp to my foot, and a light for my path."
That is exactly what it is. In moments of confusion, His Word has given me clarity. In moments of grief, it has given me comfort. In moments of joy, it has given me even more reason to rejoice. I am so thankful that we have it — all of it — available to us every single day.
A Dedication
So to anyone reading this: welcome. This space belongs to Jehovah and it is offered freely to His people. Whether you are just starting to read the Bible consistently, or you have been reading it for decades — you belong here.
And to Jehovah — thank You. For the wisdom to build this. For the patience when it was hard. For the people who use it and find it helpful. For Your Word, which never returns empty. Isaiah 55:11 says:
"So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight, and it will have sure success in what I send it to do."
May everything done here bring glory to Your name.
