What can we learn from biblical figures who disobeyed Jehovah?
1 Corinthians 10:11: "These things were written for our instruction." The Bible is remarkably honest about the failures of famous people — Korah, Balaam, Moses, Solomon, Ananias and Sapphira, Judas. Common threads: access to truth, opportunity to obey, yet something — pride, greed, fear — overrode that opportunity. Moses was denied the Promised Land for one act of failing to sanctify Jehovah (Numbers 20:12). God does not show favoritism. Solomon received exceptional wisdom yet turned away in old age (1 Kings 11:4). Which of these accounts stands out most to you? What specific lesson does it hold for today? nwtprogress.com
